You Can Sauna, Marine Lake (Weston-super-Mare)

Our sauna is on the seafront at Marine Lake in Weston-super-Mare. The window looks out over the lake to the Bristol Channel.

It’s wood-fired and we run it at about 90 degrees. Sessions are 55 minutes for up to eight people. There’s a cold shower by the door, and the lake is right there for a swim between rounds. Marine Lake is sea water and stays full at low tide. Bring a towel, swimwear and a water bottle.

Silent sessions run on Monday and Thursday afternoons and all day Sunday. Thursday, Friday and Saturday evenings are social sessions. You can also hire the whole sauna for a group of up to eight.

We’re a short walk from the town centre and the station. Parking is on Marine Parade (paid). Cafes and public toilets are on the Causeway beside us. Sessions can be booked through Joy on social prescription, and Weston residents can join the Locals’ Sauna Club at a lower rate.

Opening days: Monday and Thursday from 1pm, Friday to Sunday all day. Times on the booking page.

Prices: £14 to £16 a session. Private hire from £114. Membership from £8.99 a month for Weston residents.
