Set on the gorgeous hidden loch within the Forbes resort, our sauna is a place to come and get away from the husle and bustle of everyday life. Forbes offers a deeply restorative, nature-immersed experience designed to reconnect you with both body and mind. Our off grid, wood-fired sauna invites guests to slow down, breathe, and embrace the powerful benefits of contrast therapy, moving between the cold of the loch and heat of the sauna. Our loch has a jetty and ladder for access.

Surrounded by woodland and water, Forbes provides a calm and grounding environment, ideal for relaxation, recovery, and meaningful connection. Whether you are joining a social session or booking a private experience, the setting encourages stillness, conversation, and a shared sense of wellbeing. After your sauna you can sit outside and enjoy the views or have a spot of breakfast, lunch or diner at Forbes resort.

We also offer guided aromatherapy sessions where carefully selected essential oils are introduced to enhance the sensory experience. These sessions are designed to deepen relaxation, support respiratory health, and elevate the overall sauna ritual.

Private Hire – £105 per session Exclusive use of the sauna for your group (up to 12 people)
Aromatherapy Sessions (Mondays) – £20 per person Guided sessions with essential oils, maximum of 8 people
Children – £10 per child
