Step away from the bustle of Bristol and immerse yourself in the calm of Orchard Sauna, nestled within the lush surroundings of Windmill Hill City Farm in Bedminster.

We offer a restorative outdoor sauna experience: our traditional barrel sauna, custom designed square sauna, three ice-cold plunge pools and chill-out areas offer spaces for you to unwind in the calm of the outdoors, so you can immerse yourself in all that the seasons have to offer.

We’re open 7 days, and host a variety of sessions throughout the week, from quiet, reflective silent saunas to longer communal gatherings.

During your session, you get use of:

Either our Paddock Sauna (an outdoor barrel sauna for 6 people) or our Pasture Sauna (an outdoor square Sauna for 8 people) A small barrel plunge – chilled to 10c with filtered water A big plunge pool – extremely cold! – chilled to 3-4c with filtered water A salt water sunk in pool – chilled to around 7c, with filtered water A waterfall plunge – step free entry, around 8c, chilled and filtered water Chill out seating for relaxing between Sauna & plunge A nice hot shower Changing areas and lockers for your belongings A simple toilet set up A spot to fill up your bottle with water

For your session, please bring:

A towel (two if you can – one to sit on, one to dry with) A bathing costume (whatever feels most appropriate and comfortable for you) A water bottle A padlock for the lockers

All of our spaces (saunas, cold plunges, changing rooms and loo) are gender neutral, as are the bathrooms across the Farm.

What’s at The Farm?

Absolutely heaps! Have a look around, see the Community Gardens, say hello to the animals, grab a coffee or a meal at the Farm Cafe, get some gifts from the gift shop, go to the theatre… There’s loads to do!

The first Saturday of the month (apart from Winter months) is market day – come check out some of the best local makers, arts and crafts Bristol has to offer!
