Sauna & Sea is a wood-fired beach sauna located at Portstewart Strand, operated in partnership with the National Trust within one of Northern Ireland’s most striking coastal landscapes. The sauna offers a simple, traditional Nordic-style experience: deep, consistent heat, a calm and well-kept sauna space, and the option to step straight onto the beach for cold water immersion in the Atlantic. Sessions are designed to balance warmth, cleanliness, and a sense of wildness that comes from being right on the edge of the sea. Sustainability underpins the operation, with a low-impact approach that respects the protected environment and encourages a slower, more focused way of using the sauna.
