Bristol Sauna Yard is a family-run sauna and cold plunge space in the heart of BS5, created to bring affordable and accessible sauna culture to Bristol.

Inspired by traditional Finnish sauna practices, we believe sauna is not a luxury, but a routine for health, resilience, recovery, and connection. Whether you’re unwinding after a busy week, recovering from training, or simply looking for a mindful hour away from the city, the yard is designed to be a warm and welcoming community space for all.

Our site features two hand-made Finnish-style saunas and three cold plunge ice baths, alongside changing facilities and outdoor social space. We run both community sessions and private hire, including a popular women’s-only session each Wednesday evening.

Since opening, we’ve welcomed thousands of visitors, with the majority of our customers coming from the local BS5 community. Bristol Sauna Yard is proudly independent, inclusive, and community-focused — built around good heat, cold water, and good company.
