Beach Box, Brighton’s year-round, wood-fired beach sauna. Located directly on Brighton Beach, just steps from the shore, we offer unparalleled sea views of the English Channel and Brighton’s iconic pier.

We feature three unique wood-fired saunas:

Lotta seating 9-12 people, expertly crafted by Wildhut Sauna builders. Lotta means “free spirit” and provides direct sea views through its panoramic window. It’s cedar-clad, known for its aromatic and antibacterial properties, and features high and low benches with an internally fed wood-burning stove.

Loyly An aspen-lined sauna seating 8-10 people, offering stunning ocean views from two windows. Löyly is our hottest sauna, built by Saunacraft, and provides a woodland cabin feel with a maple syrup aroma from its aspen cladding.

Leil A 6-seater converted horsebox sauna, built by Beach Box. Leil means “steam, breath, and spirit” in Estonian. This aspen-lined sauna has benches on one level and a cozy grey felt ceiling, offering gentle yet intense heat in an intimate space.

Our facilities include changing rooms, outdoor seating areas, a fire pit, cold drinking water, cold showers, a bucket shower, a chilled ice bath, a cool plunge pool, and a chilly slipper bath for cooling off between sauna rounds. We also provide felt sauna hats for head protection.

Enhance your experience with our handmade, natural in-sauna body treatments from our spa menu, including face masks, salt scrubs, nourishing hair masks, and Aufguss ice balls with aromatherapy oils.

For an elevated thermal journey, consider adding one of our award winning trained Sauna Masters to your private sauna hire (maximum group size of 12 per Sauna Master). They will guide you through a sensory experience with steam, Aufguss aromatherapy oils, in-sauna treats, and Lithuanian-Style leaf whisking, blending tradition with modern wellness.

We offer a range of sessions throughout the week, including:

* Express 45-minute sessions
* Longer 90-minute sessions for deeper relaxation
* Earlybird sessions
* Sociable Friday sessions
* Full site silent sessions for peace and tranquility
* Regular events and retreats such as Moon Parties, Aufguss sessions, LGBTQ sessions, Women’s and Men’s sessions, Soundbaths, clothing optional sessions and Community courses.
* Kids sessions to introduce younger family members to the joy of sauna.

We offer concessions to NHS and Blue Light Staff, carers, students, those on universal credits and the over 65s, and pay as you feel spaces.
