A beautifully designed wood-fired sauna in the heart of the Somerset countryside, Meadow Sauna offers an authentic Scandinavian-style contrast therapy experience with radiant heat, cold plunge, rain showers, a streamside cool-down area and peaceful woodland surroundings at the foot of the Quantock Hills.

You can book a social session (maximum 6 guests per session) or enjoy the space privately with friends or family (maximum 10 guests per session). Pair your session with time at Meadow Café, where guests can enjoy speciality coffee, seasonal brunch, lunch and homemade bakes — ideal for turning a sauna visit into a full countryside reset.

So tranquil, calm and perfect. I love to visit cold plunges and saunas but this one is extra special due to its location of being under the trees listening to the birds with the sun and blue sky above. It’s absolutely bliss. The owners are lovely too and don’t ever make you feel hurried which adds to the relaxing experience. I feel so lucky to have this on my doorstep.

The best experience all round! A beautifully set up area with sauna, ice bath, shower and changing cubicles. So much has been thought about from foot baths prior to the ice, towels, water station through to mirrors in the changing cubicles. This is more than a new business, you can tell a lot of care & love goes into this. Olly explains everything well and is keen to make sure the experience expectation is met. It’s also great to have the full hour without feeling the next guests are waiting. Great communication over email when purchasing vouchers. We’ve booked again!
